Level 2 - Pace: Slow
In this class we’ll explore Global Dynamic Normalization (GDN) exercises for the trunk and pelvis. GDN is a global movement practice designed to promote fluid dynamics within the body by “moving the water.” Unlike ELDOA, myofascial stretching, or reinforcement techniques, GDN is a distinct approach that prioritizes holistic, dynamic movement patterns.
In this session, we’ll focus on global exercises that target the posterior part of the trunk while encouraging you to embrace the experience. GDN is best understood through movement, so I encourage you to approach this class with an open mind and enjoy the flow.
As always, listen to your body. If any movement doesn’t feel right for you, modify or step back to keep things safe. Let’s dive in and explore how GDN can bring a fresh perspective to your practice!
Let’s begin!
