Lordosis Mat

In this Mat class, Ilaria guides you through a sequence designed for anyone with hyperlordosis, whether it’s symptomatic or not. Reducing excessive lumbar curvature helps you access the abdominals more effectively, articulate the spine with control, and create a more balanced relationship between the front and back of the body.
Because lordosis shows up differently from person to person — sometimes stiff, sometimes mobile — this session stays general but includes smart modifications so everyone can work safely and effectively. We’ll use simple tools like a towel or pillow to fill the gap between the lumbar spine and the mat when needed, offering feedback and support.
We’ll also use the Rescue LOOP® at the start to gently open the posterior lumbar area and prepare the body for better movement.
